Dikkie Dik is a beloved Dutch orange cat. This book has a short story about him for every day of the year. Jasmine plans to read one to Pemi each day to expose him to the sounds and vocabulary of Dutch consistently and in a context-specific manner. Jasmine mostly speaks Italian to Pemi (or English when other English speakers are around), but she'll speak Dutch to him together with her mom.
