Belalp from Blatten

We spent 10 days hiking with Pemi every day in the Swiss alps, with Blatten as our home base. On Sunday October 5th we went for a lovely long walk up to Belalp. It was a day of firsts! He felt snow on his nose for the first time, even though it was just a light dusting. He was higher than he’d ever been - 2135 m (7004 ft). He was so happy! He ate in the woods, took a few naps and spent a lot of time staring at the trees, the clouds and the mountains around us from the warmth of the wrap, with his little red nose peeking out and taking in the fresh pine-scented air.
